Before setting off on a stroll through the sun-drenched vines, the first thing visitors notice when they arrive at the Vignoble des Quatre Vents is the long central building.
In the heart of the historic Margaux terroir, rows of vines point out in every direction on the estate's natural outcrop: hectare upon hectare of luscious vegetation, basking in the Medoc sun.
At Chateau Bonneau, Chateau Tayac-Plaisance, and Clos des Quatre Vents, a total of 28 hectares cut across three different appellations.
In the distance, visitors can just about catch a glimpse of the banks of the Gironde, and the magnificent, otherworldly elegance of Chateau Margaux. Yet the Vignoble des Quatre Vents is by no means overshadowed by its illustrious neighbour: its accomplished wine is one to savour...
