Description
This excellent Cru Artisan wine perfectly embodies the region's flavours and colours
Visitors to Chateau Les Barraillots appreciate the unique intensity of the wines produced there.
Despite the characteristic colours and aromas of its wine, this is one of the few Cru Artisan chateaus that you'll come across in an appellation best known for its First Growths.
The chateau is named after the "barrails" (fences in médocain patois) that surround the estate.
Built in the 1950s by Henri Brunet on land acquired by his father, the chateau today encompasses 7 hectares of vines, cultivated according to traditional methods.
Yannick Martin, the current estate manager, warmly greets visitors to the chateau, offering tours and tastings.
